Staffan Biörklund-jullander is a pianist, piano teacher, composer, church musician. In addition to his work as a church musician, he is a composer and improviser on piano and organ. Among his compositions and arrangements are music for choir, organ, piano and various chamber ensembles as well as church operas. His concerto for piano and orchestra was completed in 1986 and has been performed several times with himself as soloist. As an educator, he is particularly interested in spreading the joy of music to as many people as possible. One of the purposes of the church operas he has composed is to stimulate children in their musical development.
