Torchwood Complete First Season
The first series of Russell T. Davies' thrilling Doctor Who spin-off kicks off as Welsh cop Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) witnesses the resurrection of a murder victim by a mysterious group known as Torchwood (an anagram of Doctor Who). Intrigued, she investigates and learns it's a top-secret organization that uses scavenged alien technology to solve crimes -- both alien and human. The group is also preparing to arm the human race for the 21st century, which, according to Torchwood's charismatic (and seemingly immortal) leader Capt. Jack Harkness (John Barrowman), is "when it all changes." Impressed by Gwen's intelligence and intuition, Capt. Jack invites her to join the team, which is also composed of tech whiz Toshiko Sato (Naoko Mori), medic Owen Harper (Burn Gorman), and receptionist Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd), who plays a far greater role than his title implies. The spin-off's first season is decidedly darker and more grown-up than its predecessor, dealing with cases such as a sex-crazed alien, a rash of cannibalistic murders, alien kidnappings, and a giant demon that threatens to end the world.
> Due to the current limited nature of music titles, ALL CD & Vinyl purchases are limited to THREE copies per customer, per item. If you place multiple orders for multiples the same title, your subsequent orders will be canceled.
