French Touch Collection is a double LP series dedicated to the French electronic music scene. Influenced by House, Hip-Hop, Techno, and by the rave parties, several French producers participated in democratizing electronic music in the mid-'90s. Their music, dubbed "French Touch" by British journalist Martin James, became a new musical genre internationally renowned and characterized by electronic productions and music samples from Hip-Hop, Funk, & Disco. The French Touch scene reinvented itself in the early 2000s with a new generation of uninhibited artists, carried by a raw sound closer to rock. The 2010s brought another new French Touch wave influenced by pop music and more focused on melody and oneiric universes. This new opus is dedicated to the artists and tracks that have contributed to the evolution of the French Touch. Bon voyage!
