Though he's received accolades for decades, the real turn in his career came with the release of three GRAMMY-winning albums on Silvertone in the 1990s. His fans and disciples include Eric Clapton, who calls Buddy his favorite blues axe man, Keith Richards, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
