This is a diverse compilation of 13 songs selected from traditional bluegrass, five original tunes penned by Wayne, one Bob Dylan song and a couple of tunes from singer/songwriter David Parker. The recording took place in Sharpsburg, MD in a Farm House built in 1855 converted into a studio by Recording Engineer Todd Stotler. The Farm House was used as a hospital during the battle of Antietam during the Civil War. Since we struck the first note as a group in 2008 "Wayne Taylor and Appaloosa" has recorded two CDs, and performed for thousands of music lovers in Scotland, England, Holland, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee, Maryland, Pennsylvania, California, Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Virginia, and New York. We have many miles yet to go, hope to see you down the road sometime soon. Musicians: Wayne Taylor, guitar/lead and baritone vocals Emory Lester, mandolin/tenor vocals Lee Marcus, banjo Kene Hyatt, bass.
