Tré- Edle Einfalt
After the success of their debut Fundamental Music in 2006 (part of the successful Jazz thing Next Generation series), the members of Tré were looking for a return to simplicity. To that end, the trio borrowed from German art writer Johann Joachim Winkelmann (1717-1768), who in turn inspired Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The material on this CD focuses on simplicity in answer to the overloaded art of the Baroque and Rococo periods.
