Void Of Vision- What I'll Leave Behind
Void Of Vision are back with their new single "Gamma Knife" which will be used to announce their new album What I'll Leave Behind - out September 20 2024. When describing the track singer Jack Bergain states, "Gamma Knife is about my near death experience and the desire for clarity in the aftermath. To truly discover if everything I went through in the healing process would change me and everything around me for the better. I felt like the idea of going through radio-surgery figuratively felt like it was not only destroying the malformation in my brain but also a negative version of myself I needed to leave in the past." - The release follows a relentless year of writing and releasing 3 EP's showcasing 3 completely different styles for their previous piece of work Chronicles, Void Of Vision firmly established exactly how grandiose and adventurous their sonic universe truly is. "Some bands take many years to evolve from their original signature sound to something bigger than ever imagined, but Void of Vision have managed to compress the entire experience in just over 12 months and the end results in no way shape or form sound rushed or forced" (WALL OF SOUND). "This EP is as diverse a sound as I have heard in a while. It's not Industrial, it's not Metal, it's not Dance, but what it is, is something that grabs you, slams you against a wall and repeats itself" (ROCK N LOAD). The goal was to wrap up the experience leaving everyone guessing what's to come, to throw out the proverbial rule book along with any preconceptions for their future.
