With Behind The Wall, Edgär isn't just making a comeback; the Amiens-based duo is undergoing a radical transformation, trading the pop introspection of their early work for a pure, adrenaline-fueled rock blast. Expected on March 20, 2026, this third album is a veritable sonic uppercut where melancholy crashes against walls of abrasive guitars and a dry, metronomic drumbeat, built for speed. Drawing directly from the raw energy of garage rock and the tension of post-punk, somewhere between the edginess of The Strokes, the melodic fury of Bad Nerves, and the dark poetry of Fontaines D.C., Antoine and Ronan have created their most direct and organic album yet. The album exudes the urgency of live performance, evoking the smell of spilled beer, the heat of bodies melting together, and the electricity of mosh pits.
