Hailing from Staten Island, New York, Pat Cordel & The Crescents (also known as Pat Cordel & The Elegants) were one of the first white early rock n' roll groups to have a recording released. After winning a singing contest, where the 1st prize was a recording contract, they recorded two songs - "My Tears" and "Darling Come Back." Presented here is that first historic single, with "Darling Come Back" as the "A" side, originally released in 1956 as Pat Cordel & The Crescents. Newly remastered.
