CASTLEBEAT is the lo-fi indie rock project of 32-year-old half-Korean, half-Spanish Josh Hwang, also founder of indie label Spirit Goth. His sound is a culmination of gripping pop hooks & cassette aesthetics delivered with dreamy, melancholic overtones often leaving listeners with a sense of false nostalgia. This album, CASTLEBEAT II, is a 10-year homage to the self-titled 2016 debut of the project, which garnered great attention in the underground indie scene.
