White Morning is a work by Fumio Miyashita, recorded at Biwa Studio in 1989. It occupies that tranquil space between healing music, ambient sounds and meditative ambient: music conceived for rest and mindfulness rather than for performance. Originally released on CD in 1991, it has circulated quietly ever since amongst fans of kankyo ongaku and Japanese new age, and had never been released on vinyl until now. Anyone who is a fan of Hiroshi Yoshimura, Satoshi Ashikawa or Klaus Wiese should feel right at home with this record.
