Limited edition of 1500 numbered copies on blue coloured 180-gram audiophile vinyl. The Byrds sophomore record "Turn! Turn! Turn!" came just half year after their commercial success of the album and single "Mr. Tambourine Man". "Turn! Turn! Turn!" was an immediate success with the title track reaching #1 in the US Billboard chart and the album landing in the Top 20. The album contains less Dylan covers which gives more room for David Crosby, Gene Clark and Jim McGuinn to show their own writing skills. The album is a real early jangle pop essential, where you can hear the bands influence on bands like R.E.M., Teenage Fanclub, and Crowded House. The sound of the 12-string Rickenbacker guitar, the rich vocal harmonies, and personal lyrics give the album a timeless feel. To everything there is a season! This winter we celebrate 240th seasons of this timeless classic!
