Charley Patton is considered to be one of the foremost influential bluesmen of the pre war period. The influence that he had on the generations of blues lovers to come is astronomical. Some of the standout pieces on the second volume of his collected works are Green River Blues, Farrell Blues (a song in tribute to his hometown), and Come Back Corrina; with a vocal performance by Henry Sims.
