Chestnuts- Who Knows Better Than I / I'm So Blue
Hailing from New Haven, Connecticut, The Chestnuts were a popular vocal group that started out as a male quartet - the original members of the group were Reuben White, Lymon Hopkins, his brother Frank, and Jimmy Williams. They became a quintet when they added female lead vocalist Ruby Whitaker. In 1957 they released the single "Who Knows Better Than I" featuring Ruby's lead vocals. The group also recorded the song "I'm So Blue" which remained unreleased. Presented here is the original 1957 single "Who Knows Better Than I" paired with the previously unreleased "I'm So Blue." Both tracks have been newly remastered.
