Dave uses two custom made guitars, one with 32 frets-six string and twelve string dounle neck, the other six string frettless and 18 string double neck. Each song is from a different culture of South America like Son, Merengue, Flamenco, Bolero, Inty Raymi, Fandango, Dazante, etc. The string solos and rhythms replace any flutes or other instrumentation that would normally be present. Accompanying the string melodies are the traditional percussions traditionally used with the perspective musical styles resulting in a 'string and percussion masterpiece'
