Turning country music on it's ear, the Dolly Ranchers have been compared to everyone from Patti Smith to Freakwater. Hailing from the high desert of Northern New Mexico, this all-girl, alt-country quartet creates ramblings on whiskey, passion and the romance of the open road. The Dolly Ranchers bring to the stage and to their recordings a feeling of travel and adventure; of a spontaneous road show in an unexpected place or the sweet melancholy of hitchhiking on a lonesome sunny highway.
