George Ka- Les Rebords Du Monde
After the success of her first EP "Par Avance" (2021) (+3 million streams, opening acts for Gaël Faye, Sofiane Pamart, Julien Doré, IAM, MC Solaar, Louane, and two sold-out Parisian dates at Point Éphémère and La Maroquinerie), George Ka returns with her first album "Les Rebords du Monde" on April 4, 2025. Inspired by urban spaces, between introspection and collective connection, George Ka delivers 11 tracks alternating between pop and electronic sounds. Love refrains with drums and cello (L'Espagne), electro up-tempo narrating sisterhood (Lenny, Le Même corps), 2step-inspired back-and-forth with Fils Cara (Basic Fit), engaged poems over synth layers (Bus 115), voice-cello ballad interlude (Kanske), this album swings from one world to another with agility. A sharp, intuitive writing style, always seeking the right word, where every line does justice to both the intimate and the political, revealing the full range of George Ka's lyrical talent. This album is a gentle yet urgent all, an invitation to contemplate and build together through our differences. To accompany the release of this debut opus, George Ka has announced a show at Le Trianon for November 2025 and will be part of the 2025 Printemps de Bourges lineup.
