Spirit connects far beyond cultural and religious boundaries. That is why here SINGER PUR seeks to link the spirit from different world religions, regions and cultures. May the spirit-filled music inspire and move you and waft you through the exotic and the familiar. The SINGER PUR discography consists of more than 25 albums, several of which have received awards: two of them "Le Choc de l'Année" by the French music magazine "Le Monde de la Musique" and three more the ECHO Klassik Award in 2005, 2007 and 2011. Founded in 1991, the sextet is made up of former members of the Regensburger Domspatzen. Initially the group focused on jazz repertoire, but since 1994 the ensemble's focus has shifted to early and romantic music. The ensemble, however, has proven that they have no stylistic limitations, and their programmes include anything performable by voices.
