Katie Doherty- Bridges
Katie Doherty is a huge talent in the making, but don't just take our word for it. In 2004 a panel including Guy Chambers and Andy McCluskey awarded her the Musicians Benevolent Fund National Award for Song Creation for her track "Bridges". It was an apt, as well as early, recognition of Doherty's skills. She is one of a growing number of young performers who take inspiration from the folk tradition yet write and create their own material. Using a collection of talented young traditional musicians to provide a backdrop for her songs, Doherty sings in a voice beyond her years and with an engaging confidence.

- Lady Midas
- Winter Is Past
