Lee Moses has remained, for years, one of soul music's mystery men. His voice is up there with the best and his recorded output of deep soul and funk tracks has made him a legend, but unlike the well documented careers of singers like Bobby Womack, James Carr or Johnny Adams, information on Lee Moses has been more difficult to come by and what information there has been is both complicated and confused, thus he has remained a shadowy cult figure. His amazing music however, speaks volumes. Presented here is a rare single originally released in 1969, featuring Lee singing Dan Penn's soul classic "Dark End Of The Street" on the "A" side and the funky "She's A Bad Girl" on the "B" side.
