Little Dabs- Hot Rod (Mod)
The Little Dabs were the brainchild and actual offspring of veteran funk drummer Russell Dabney of the Philly funk band Gypsy Lane - the band that backed the Village People and the Ritchie Family in the studio. The Little Dabs were fronted by Dabney's four and six year old sons who scored a gold record in Canada in 1982 with the infectious "E.T. (Every Time)." Featured here is the funky follow-up "Hot Rod," recorded in 1983. Included is a bonus instrumental and radio edit. All selections newly remastered.
