American jazz pianist, composer and arranger Mel Henke was largely part of the West Coast jazz scene and also played a role in the "space age bachelor pad" music of the late 50's and early 60's. Henke also was involved from 1955 on with Disneyland Television, and between the mid-fifties to late seventies only recorded a handful of albums as a leader. Presented here is one of his last recordings, originally released in 1978, the year before he died. All selections have been newly remastered.
