Undoubtedly one of most important Hungarian musicians post-WWII, violinist Johanna Martzy's star would soon fade from international memory, becoming a name known only to connoisseurs. All her recordings were taken off the market a few years after their release, giving her a near legendary mystique and a very committed collector following. These 1956/62 Mozart performances, live recordings of studio production, display not only technical perfection and a glorious tone, but consummate bow mastery in all it's nuances as well as a cultivated passion of expression.

Tracklist:

  1. Violin Concerto No. 4 In D Major, K. 218: I. Allegro
  2. Violin Concerto No. 4 In D Major, K. 218: II. Andante Cantabile
  3. Violin Concerto No. 4 In D Major, K. 218: III. Rondo: Andante Grazioso
  4. Violin Concerto No. 3 In G Major, K. 216: I. Allegro
  5. Violin Concerto No. 3 In G Major, K. 216: II. Adagio
