the album cover for Neil Andersson - C'est Si Bon

This is Northwest Music Hall of Fame member Neil Andersson's first release. It's a balance of upbeat, hard swinging Jazz and poignant ballads, all played with the influence of Django Reinhardt in a setting of guitar, piano, vibes, bass and drums. This CD is, at times, reminiscent of the George Shearing Quintet. There are four Django compositions here plus a mix of standards and Andersson originals. Neil's energy, precision and guitar mastery are evident with every note he plays and there are fine solos and support form vibraphone player, Susan Pascal and pianist, Michael Jaap. "C'est si bon" could easily become a favorite of Django fans and guitar enthusiasts alike.
