Nighthawks- Tryin To Get To You
The Nighthawks are true Legends of Blues and Rock n' Roll. As their 50th anniversary approaches, The Nighthawks step forward with two new members: Dan Hovey on guitar and Paul Pisciotta on bass. Dan delivers strong lead vocals along with his tasty guitar playing, and Paul brings the band's already famous four-part harmonies to a new level. Led by founding member Mark Wenner the band has been touring the world for since 1972. With some 30 recordings (and let's not forget the award-winning DVD) and local and international awards to their credit, The Nighthawks are still churning out new material while drawing on more than four decades' worth of signature tunes from their legendary live shows. And now with new blood and new tunes the Hawks are set to release their 31st CD, Tryin' To Get To You on April 17th. They're damn few bands that can match the output and quality of American Roots music, from down home blues, vintage rock n' roll, early R&B, soul and Do Wop. And always putting the Nighthawk magic on everything they touch.
