The percussion trio Tigue is amongst the modern movement that doesn't care to identify with any one particular genre, instead roaming across several in their quest for making compelling music. 'Peaks', their debut release showcases the trio with contributions from Yo La Tengo great Ira Kaplan and James McNew and is produced by Kid Millions, the metal-minimalist drummer. Clearly influenced by pop and avant garde tendencies, Tigue's performances on their debut intrigue and whet the appetite for the music that is yet to come.
