Two major piano solo works by Sergei Prokofiev and Sergei Rachmaninoff are presented on this album by Dzmitry Ulasuik, who brings these masterpieces to life. Dzmitry Ulasiuk has emerged on the American scene after winning over audiences in Europe with his ferocious technical skills yet quietly refined ability to coax every detail, every note, and every lyrical phrase out of the keyboard. He has won or placed in 15 international piano competitions, winning the latest which had nearly 2,000 contestants from 88 different countries: the 2018 Kaleidoscope International Music Competition in Los Angeles, California. Soft-spoken and humble, Dzmitry has a zest for life that transfers into musical panache. His recordings have been broadcast on European radio and television, and on NPR in the United States. He has a fast-growing reputation for electrifying performances and evocative interpretations of Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, and Scriabin in particular.
