Richard Kiser- Upon This Rock
Richard has been playing guitar since age 13. He is a self taught 'Atkins style' or 'fingerstyle' guitarist. For the past thirteen years he has toured all over the US and in Europe playing concerts. As a result of his playing, Richard has won over 60 major awards including 'Instrumentalist of the Decade' with the International Country Gospel Music Assn. He is a regular performer at the annual Chet Atkins Appreciation Society in Nashville and has shared the stage with Roy Clark, Sonny James, The Oak Ridge Boys, and many of the top southern Gospel groups. This CD features many of the favorite old hymns with accompaniment of Amie Connours and Country Music Hall of fame member Charlie McCoy on Harmonica.
