This unique Hebrew language recording made in the mid 1970's in Miami, features Rita Shore, who became history's first female Cantor in 1968. She received vocal and musical training at the famed Julliard School of Music in New York City and performed opera and concerts. She also appeared at the opening of Lincoln Center, under the direction of Leonard Bernstein. In 1974, Cantor Shore became the first woman to open the Florida House of Representatives and the Senate in prayer and song. All selections newly remastered.
