Recorded in 1960 at a Jazz at the Philharmonic concert in Zurich, Switzerland, this album features the legendary pianist Oscar Peterson with bassist Ray Brown and drummer Ed Thigpen. It is released here officially for the first time and was mastered from the original tapes. In 1960 jazz impresario Norman Granz took the Oscar Peterson Trio, the Miles Davis Quintet and the Stan Getz Quartet on a "Jazz at the Philharmonic" tour through Europe. The only Swiss concert of the tour took place on Friday April 8th 1960 in the Kongresshaus Zurich and was recorded by the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation.
