Thurman works in collaboration with pianist Marilyn Crispell on three tracks in a duo setting. In quartet setting he is joined by keyboardist John Medeski and saxophonist John Stubblefield. Maurice McIntyre makes an appearance teaming up with John Stubblefield on Barker's composition "Tenor Tantrum".
