Tonight Alive- Underworld
Australian rock band, Tonight Alive, burst onto the scene in 2008 as teenagers, quickly finding success with their debut album What Are You Scared Of? & becoming a crowd favorite at festivals like the Vans Warped Tour & Bamboozle. Blending power pop & rock, radio stations like BBC Radio 1 (UK) & triple J (Australia) took notice & the band began a five year stretch of non-stop touring/recording & dealing with a major label/corporate system. After a grueling & emotionally-draining run, singer Jenna McDougall started feeling the effects of the burnout-inducing schedule, & the band took a step back to re-discover their love for creating music. Underworld is the band's final & most organic album yet, a raw & real insight to a band reconnecting with their authentic selves, & reflecting on the ugly parts that McDougall admits that she tried to hide until now.
