the album cover for Tygers Of Pan Tang - Wild Cat

Digitally remastered and expanded edition. Wild Cat is the debut album by the British heavy metal band Tygers of Pan Tang. The riffs are stormy and the guitars bold, Rob Wier and Co. Paying homage to fast women, booze and dying young in colorfully named tracks like 'Euthanasia' and 'Badger, Badger'. The Tygers are represented here with their first vocalist, Jess Cox, and while this album is not as polished or produced as later efforts, it is that rawness that endears fans to this album to begin with. The keyword is raw, there's nothing clean about this album and that's what early '80s British metal was all about. To put it simply, this is one of the best albums of that era for hard rock/heavy metal.
