Melding funky blues and soul with acoustic folk-rock, Vicki Randle had a success as a singer songwriter long before she became the face and voice of the Tonight Show Band. Weaving together Ella, Billie, Miles and other influences of her jazz musician father with Joni, James and a little Etta into deeply revealing, poignant songs, which she uses her exquisitely powerful voice and intricate finger-style guitar to send straight to the hearts of her listeners. Most familiar for her 18 years with the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, energetically singing the show into commercial, for the last 30 years she has recorded and toured with countless artists providing vocals, drums and percussion, guitar, bass, even harmonica. Currently she is singing with Mavis Staples in support of her grammy winning album, You're Not Alone.
