The selections presented here were recorded in Los Angeles in late 1955 and early '56 and musicians featured include Red Calendar on bass; Pete Lewis and Lloyd Rowe on guitar; K.C. Bell and Kenny Primus on drums; Don Johnson on trumpet; Jackie Kelso, alto sax; Eldee Williams, tenor sax; James Curry, guitar and bass; and Lorenzo Holden, tenor sax. Included are rare out-takes from the historic sessions. All selections newly re-mastered.
