Professionally known as Grandmaster Slice, Stacey Rogers got into the rap game as a kid pop-locking in a local dance crew in Southern Virginia called Ebony Express & deejaying basement parties throughout his teen years alongside his cousin DJ Adam T. Slice later hooked up with a former schoolmate, Izzy Chill, and in 1989 the duo produced a dance record titled "Shall We Dance (Electric Slide)," for the indie Creative Funk label. The song became a hit on the rap charts, and they soon released an album by the same title. In 1991, Slice released the 5 track single "Thinking Of You & Turn Up The Music" featuring vocalist Marianne Tutalo (sometimes known as Marlenne Tutalo) on "Thinking Of You," and vocalist Cheryl Clark is featured on "Turn Up The Music" with additional production from Scratchmaster Chuck T, once again originally released on the Creative Funk imprint. That classic single is presented here newly remastered for this exclusive release.

  2. Turn Up the Music
  3. Turn Up the Music (Sending Shouts Out)
