Trombonist Dave Glenn brings a top-flight band of New York artists together for a musical look at America's national pastime - baseball. Inspired by a month-long journey where Glenn attended 18 major league games in 19 days in 6 different ballparks, many of these tunes were composed with the sport's rich history in mind. With a stellar horn line, including tenor saxophonist Rich Perry and Dave Scott on trumpet, Glenn leads the six-piece ensemble through eight tunes all collectively brought together with the help of producer and trombonist John Fedchock. The rhythm section of Gary Versace, John Hebert, and Jeff Hirshfield propel the group in this modern look at the heart of America.
