This CD is a musical protest against the Bush/Cheney administration and it's policies. It features jazz keyboardist Jason Lindner, Chilean jazz vocalist Claudia Acuna, jazz/blues/pop vocalist Pyeng Threadgill, rapper Baba Israel, blues guitarist/vocalist Howard Glazer, political folk musician David Rovics, old-time country musicians Eli Smith and Steve Strohmeyer, the Cali-based Afrobeat band Aphrodesia and others. Several original compositions are included, such as "Evolution" and "Mad Cow Breakdown" by Eli Smith; "God of War" by Jason Lindner and "State of Emergency" by Baba Israel. Aphrodesia plays Fela Kuti's "No Agreement," while Threadgill covers "I Can't Write with My Left Hand."
