Sivert Hoyem- On An Island

Vinyl LP pressing. Sivert Høyem, lead singer of Norwegian rock band Madrugada, returns in January 2024 with his 6th solo album "On An Island" - 8 years since his previous solo album. "On An Island" was made in Nyksund, Norway at 68.59 degrees north (the latitude of Northern Siberia) - a depopulated, nine-citizen fishing community from the 60s which has been revitalized in recent years by artists and hippies. In Nyksund, Sivert and his co-conspirators moved into an old parish, where the entire album was recorded with all musicians gathered in a big room with wooden walls and floors - not unlike how many jazz records are made.

🩷 Open My Records To Avoid Seam Splitting

In order to ship your records to you in the safest way possible, and to avoid seam splits, we recommend removing the record from the jacket when shipping. That said, we will never open sealed records and do this without your permission. If you would like your records shipped to you this way, please add Open My Records to your cart.

We will place your jacket and record inside a FREE protective poly with all shrink and hype stickers intact.
