This new jazz album features original tracks by Andrew Beals and Chris Morrison, plus the hit "What the World Needs Now Is Love," made famous by Burt Bacharach. Andrew Beals broke into the jazz scene when he joined legendary jazz organist Jack McDuff and the Heatin' System in 1986 His fourteen-year tenure with that group was marked by a busy performance schedule, touring in North America and Europe. He began his recording career as a leader with the album "Gravy Train." He has since appeared as a leader of his own band and as a featured soloist at many renowned jazz clubs and festivals. Chris Morrison, who is the son of jazz guitarist Allen Morrison, began performing early in his life with jazz organists Richard McCrae, Bobby Buster, and Eddie Buster. Chris was fortunate to study with jazz guitarists Sal Salvador, Don Neary and Joe Diorio, arranger Bill Finegan, and pianists Charlie Banacos, Garry Dial and Mike Longo. He holds a Master of Music degree in Jazz Performance from the Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase.
