Recorded in February of 1954 in Chicago and released in May of that same year, gritty R&B vocalist Ann Carter's "You Oughta Quit It" B&W "Lovin' Daddy Blues" is probably the rarest single from Chicago's Blue Lake label catalog and is highly sought after by collectors and aficionados. Montgomery, Alabama native Carter comes from a musical family; she is the sister of bandleader and bassist Bob Carter who recorded in the mid-to late 1950's for the Specialty label, and the niece of Sonny Carter who worked out of Detroit and recorded for Dot Records. All selections newly remastered.

> Due to the current limited nature of music titles, ALL CD & Vinyl purchases are limited to FOUR copies per customer, per item. If you place multiple orders for multiples of the same title, your subsequent orders will be canceled.
