This anthology of choral works by Pacific Northwest composers represents the diverse cultural, social, and geographical influences of the region. Nearly half of the works were composed especially for Opus 7; many are world-premiere recordings. Opus 7, one of the nation's finest choral ensembles, received three consecutive "Award for Adventurous Programming" from Chorus America. Loren Pontén, it's Founder and Artistic Director, has been an active conductor in the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years.
