A new season at the Orsay-Royaumont Academy draws to a close. For one year, four duos of young pianists and singers, supervised by eminent masters, have had an opportunity to immerse themselves in the life of the Musée d'Orsay, soak up it's collections, and 'connect' with them during master classes, recitals and musical promenades. Focusing on the genre of art song and Lied, which are emblematic of the era covered by the Orsay collections, this wonderful partnership between the two institutions at the crossroads of music, painting and poetry is unmatched in the realm of French museums.
