Dora Deliyska- Danzas
The new album "Danzas" by Bulgarian pianist Dora Deliyska exhibits a colorful insight into the manifold world of the Dance. Whether in Greg Andersons Carmen Fantasy for two pianos on themes in Spanish style by Georges Bizet, in Le grand tango by Astor Piazzolla in an arrangement for viola and piano, the Dances in Bulgarian Rhythm by Bela Bartok or the Three Danzas Argentinas by Alberto Ginastera, the rhythms always inspire the listener to dancing moves of her own. The Tango by Igor Stravinsky, recorded in a version for violin and piano, and Balkandrom by Austrian musician and composer Georg Breinschmid stand for a very personal confrontation with the element of dance. Dora Deliyskas musical dancing partners are: Luca Monti - piano, Jury Revich and Florian Willeitner - violin, Nora Schwarzberg - viola, and Georg Breinschmid - bass.
