Jacked Up Hot Rod- Tonight We Ride
Billy Forbis (bass, vocals and songwriter) of Aberdeen, NC, formed the Jacked Up Hot Rod in the mid-1990's. After several personell changes the current line-up came together in 2005. The group performs mostly in the Sandhills area of central North Carolina and features guitarist, songwriter and vocalist Steve McKenzie of Pinebluff, NC, keyboardist, songwriter, vocalist and producer Ron Huff of Raeford, NC and drummer, percussionist, songwriter and ball of energy Geoff Brone of Carthage, NC. The band is probably best known for a wide variety of great cover, dance tunes ranging from classic rock and oldies to motown, funk and beach! This all original collection of Hot Rod songs carries the group into new territory. Each of the members has written original material for numerous other projects. This the first collaberative effort as the Jacked Up Hot Rod!! An evening with the Jacked Up Hot Rod is sure to be filled with lively music showcasing super tight rhythms, powerful solos and great harmonies! Thanks for checking out the songs.
