Many bands purporting to play New Orleans Jazz today actually play styles which evolved from it in Chicago & N.Y., but Jerry & his Stompers play it in it's classic form. He's assembled a group of musicians so steeped in the original music they are able to tap into the creative consciousness which produced it's flowering in the mid-1920's.
