Taiwanese genius Hsieh Mingyan records a 21st century live performance together with Japanese free jazz legends Hiroshi Yamazaki, Yoshihide Otomo, and Takashi Sugawa! Tsieh Mingyan is a Taiwanese saxophonist whose extraordinary talent has shocked the Tokyo jazz scene. In June 2024, Tsieh Mingyan had a miraculous encounter with Japanese free jazz legends Hiroshi Yamazaki, Yoshihide Otomo, and Takashi Sugawa, and the live recordings recorded by Yoshihide Otomo, which released overwhelming heat, are finally available! Yamazaki's roaring drums, Otomo's guitar racing to it's climax, Sugawa's bass wriggling in all directions, and Tsieh swinging his soprano saxophone 180 degrees in the middle of the main story and blowing intensely - you will be blown away by the super-powerful performance of these four people. Challenging the limits of improvisation, the intense yet delicate interplay cuts through the air. Mixing and mastering was done by Dave Yang, a Taiwanese engineer who has worked with Jay Chou and Ng Bai. The cover art is a 1951 work by the master of copperplate engraving, Kiyoshi Hasegawa, entitled 'Miss Parisian Dove: Ambassador of Peace and Prosperity.' A must-have for jazz fans, this is a shocking live documentary that will shake the 21st century! Songlist 1. Punctum Visus #1 (09:19) 2. Punctum Visus #2 (04:32) 3. Punctum Visus #3 (02:49) 4.
