Orquesta Suprema- Bacunayagua
One of the original exponents of the true "Miami Sound," Orquesta Suprema was a well oiled twelve piece Cuban salsa orchestra - extremely popular in the early to mid 1970's in the Miami area. Their brand of Salsa fueled by Afro-Cuban rhythms proved contagious, and when Suprema played a dance, they drew thousands of people with little or no advertising. Their rare vinyl albums are now highly prized by Cuban music enthusiasts and remain hard to find collector's items. Presented here is a collection of some of their finest recorded performances from the mid 1970's for the legendary Sound Triangle label. All selections newly re-mastered.
