Pa Fletch- In the Jungle (CD)
Perhaps the hardest working drummer in all of San Diego, Pa' is also a family man who wanted to find some music that his two young boys might enjoy. Problem was, all the music out there was made only for kids, and wasn't really something that would make an adult tap their feet. The world needed a collection of songs that parents and children could listen to together. Always being a bit of a closet Rastafarian, Pa's vision of the future was clear. He would create an album of reggae music for the whole family to enjoy. Pa' set forth on his quest, setting up camp at the mighty Cape May Sound Laboratory with his trusty assistant, Kevin Mankins. The result of these efforts is in the Jungle, the debut album from Pa' Fletch. This collection of reggae-inspired tunes sends the adult listener to a tropical paradise of steel drums and fruitful drinks, while the kiddos are enthralled by the catchy lyrics and topical subject matter - there's something for everybody to enjoy.
