Reona is the debut album on Kou Records by REO NA - tap dancer, metal percussionist, and one of the most viscerally original sound artists working anywhere in the world today. Recorded at Studio D ede in January 2026 and produced by Randall Dunn, the album captures a full-body practice in real time: tap shoes, wooden board, chains, stainless steel bowls, unexploded bomb disposal signage, S outh Indian meal plates, and a loudspeaker, played from head to toe. O ccupying a rare intersection between the Japanese noise tradition of Merzbow and Otomo Yoshihide and the percussive physicality of Milford Graves- with no precedent for what happens when those two worlds meet in a single body. Features a guest appearance by Atsuo, drummer of legendary Japanese rock band Boris. Recorded at Power Station Studios and produced by Randall Dunn.
